Rentals, Waivers, and How To Participate!

At Lake View, our priority is making it easy for guests to make their activity arrangements.

Upon arrival, our thorough and friendly head office staff will ensure a smooth check in process and advise how to access the waterfront for swimming, boating, or other water activities. We’ll also direct you to our favourite fishing spots or the best waterfalls to chase!

Kayaks are available for rental through the head office, and we provide complimentary lifejackets to those looking to get out on the water.

For the protection of our staff and of our campground, we do ask our guests that participate in our activities to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.

Our Vision For Glamping in New Brunswick

Glamping in Grand Lake makes it easy to enjoy the rural New Brunswick lifestyle while still being close enough to taste city life! Our property is conveniently located within an hour from several New Brunswick towns and cities.

Only an hour away from our glampsite is Fredericton, New Brunswick’s capital city. Our guests can enjoy shopping at the Regent Mall, Costco, and several local boutiques in the downtown area. Fredericton also boasts excellent local dining, and we’d be happy to provide our recommendations for food!

45 minutes from our site is the town of Sussex, which has a flourishing farmer’s market, an excellent golf course, and a thriving drive-in that operates during the summer months.

The cities of Saint John and Moncton are each just over an hour away from our site, and both cities feature farmer’s markets, robust dining options, and plenty of shopping.

Highway Access:

We have easy highway access to highways 10, 105, and the Trans-Canada 2. We are only too happy to provide directions and ensure you feel comfortable getting to where you want to go!

For quick convenience trips, we recommend the Route 2 Irving station, which is about 15 minutes away. The Irving features an NB Liquor Agent as well as plenty of local baked goods, chips and other snacks, and a small restaurant.

Also about 15 minutes away is the village of Chipman, a modest village that has quick essentials for those looking to keep close to their domes! Chipman has grocery stores, a few restaurants, a Shoppers Drug Mart, ice cream shops, a Co-op, and an NB Liquor Agent.

Located on 444 Cox Point Road, Cumberland Bay, New Brunswick, our guests can enjoy plenty of easy-access recreational activities. From kayaking to fishing, we’ve got something for everyone!
